First of all we would like to apologize for the long wait with no announcement. Over the past several months we have been weighing options and dealing with more variables and roadblocks than we ever have before. It is now with much regret that we must formally announce that Pine Hill Speedway will not be opening for the 2009 Race Season. As you all know Don was in a traffic accident late last summer and he is still in the recovery process from a broken vertebra in his neck. On his last hospital visit he was told that it would most likely not be completely healed until August. Obviously because of the injury and rehab his day to day activity has been restricted. Our original intent was to open with a limited schedule. But because of the injury, repair needed to the scales from the off season, and a large number of Track Personnel who were unable to return for the 2009 season due to personal reasons; we were forced to scrap this year’s schedule. Once again we would like to thank everyone for the tremendous support that has been shown and we look forward to the future.
